I cannot deal with mohair. It is so pretty and feels lovely but all those fluffy fibres drive me insane - sneezing, eye watering, itching. Is there an alternative? I dont see angora around too much any more, except for Iona Bunny, but then her hair doesnt come non-blended does it?
@Patti Waterfield I just finished my swatch for Rein by Arne & Carlos with Rowan Alpaca Classic. Its pretty fine but it has a great halo - shorter fibres than mohair but really, really soft and I didn't notice any fibres floating around. You may want to take a look at that if you want fluff without mohair. I will probably talk about it more as I start the project. It's the first time I am using the yarn and I only have the swatch knit - so not really a full test of how it performs. Stay tuned.
