I bought a cotton knit nightgown about 2 years ago. It was soft and just the right short length. After about 3 months, I couldn't find it. I looked everywhere. I was at the height of my brain fog with my chronic illness. Every once in a while I would think about this nightgown and where could it possibly have gone.
Two days ago, Joe stacked my clean laundry on my dresser. There was the light blue nightgown! He said it was just in the pile of laundry from the laundry shoot. The laundry shoot had gotten clogged earlier in the week and Joe manually had to shove a long metal rod into it until the stuck clothing moved. The nightgown was hung up in the laundry shoot for 18 months! I wasn't crazy!
