Lights, Camera, Action!

Our mill was installed in January and we’ve been on a whirlwind busily making LOTS of beautiful yarn in gorgeous colourways that we will be able to share with you really soon!

Of course, in order to do that, we needed to have some photos taken that would hopefully capture the look and feel of our yarn perfectly. So off we trucked, 36 colourways in tow, to Jive Photographic in Halifax for the big photo shoot. It was an amazingly fun day!

We twisted and untwisted and re-twisted skeins, we plucked out bits of hay with a felting needle, and we deftly wielded our lint rollers like yarn grooming ninjas! (Who knew yarn needed so much grooming?!?!?).

James and his team took our yarn just as seriously as we do, which was so great, and appreciated! We painstakingly previewed every shot as though they were first born portraits…I guess in mill terms, they kind of are!

And, the reveal...

This product photo shot by James shows the final result. All 36 will soon be available for browsing and buying on our website which launches in late April.

And now guess what!??! Now we’re off to the barn because lambing season has just begun (literally, like 10 minutes ago).

If you know anyone who might be interested in purchasing or selling our yarn, please share this post!

We are looking forward to reaching out with another update soon, which will obviously have cute baby lamb photos, you won’t want to miss that one!

Also, you can meet our yarns in person by touring the PEI Fibre Trail! Contact us for more info on this sightseeing tour designed for yarnies!
