Our Wildwinds 2 Ply is a special yarn crafted from the wool of a special flock of sheep living on Wildwinds Pastures here on Prince Edward Island.
This semi-worsted, fingering weight yarn is a tribute to the yarns used in the traditional Scandinavian motifs and patterns that we love!
We hope you will love this traditional style yarn that celebrates the history and legacy of knitters and designers of the past.
* A note about Black - We use as much natural black wool as we can get from the farm in our Black colour way. However, this particular flock doesn't have a lot of black sheep, so we supplement with Wildwinds fibre that we dye using Greener Shades dyes.
