In high school I took a skiing trip to Moosehead Lake in Maine, and this scarf was inspired by my fond memories of that trip. The stitch pattern was adapted from an old wool ski sweater of my Dad’s from the 60’s! Its basic ribbing and garter design is simple to do, yet sophisticated in appearance. It is a very generous sized scarf, and our aran weight ultra squishy yarn makes it as cozy as you can get! You can purchase the yarn to make this scarf here.
7.5 x 60 inches (19x152cms)
The finished scarf weighs approximately 250g, and used 375 yards of yarn.
US 6 & 7 - 4.0 and 4.5mm needles.
