Wildwinds 2 Ply

Our Wildwinds 2 Ply is a special yarn crafted from the wool of a special flock of sheep living on Wildwinds Pastures here on Prince Edward Island.

This semi-worsted, fingering weight yarn is a tribute to the yarns used in the traditional Scandinavian motifs and patterns that we love! It comes in three traditional colours: Natural White, Natural Grey and Black and four dyed colours: Cranberry, Trondheim Blue, Autumn Birch and A Night without Stars.

We hope you will love this traditional style yarn that celebrates the history and legacy of knitters and designers of the past.

* A note about Black - We use as much natural black wool as we can get from the farm in our Black colour way. However, this particular flock doesn't have a lot of black sheep, so we supplement with Wildwinds fibre that we dye using Greener Shades dyes.
