We like ours made from Fleece and Harmony Signature Aran. The slightly thicker yarn makes a wonderfully warm mitten.
If you are making one pair in one colour, we suggest you purchase 2 skeins.
We have made some colour suggestions, but you can choose any colour of Fleece and Harmony Signature Aran you like!
If you have scraps of aran weight yarn at home that you can use for contrasting cuffs, you can make the main body of two mittens with one skein of Signature.
The roving for thrums is 60 grams (2 ounces).
